 My reflection

I did the first presentation in this class. After my presentation finished, I watched the video taken by my classmate and felt that I needed to practice more and more. The reason is that there were times when there was too much time left before the next slide. I could talk smoothly and completely in practice, but I stammered at times because I was so nervous. I thought that this is a point that definitely needs to be improved.

Nonoka

While I listened to her presentation, I thought she talked smoothly. It made me completely understand. Though her presentation was good overall, I thought that she often looked on the screen and less eye contact. Therefore, I found if she improves this point, her presentation will be better presented.

Tsubasa

In his presentation, he talked about detailed and summarized information, therefore, I could understand well. As a negative point of his presentation, I thought he didn't much eye contact. He seemed to be looking downward, which made him look unconfident.

Moeka
I was pretty surprised to hear her presentation. The reason why is that the structure and design of the slide were clear and accurate. I found her body language was also good. However, I didn't think her eye contact was good enough. (It's not for me to say......)

I made guts pose when I heard Friday's class had not presentation. Certainly, I practiced many times for the presentation, however, I was really nervous. When I entered the classroom, almost all the students who are in the advanced class saw the slide and practiced many times. As I mentioned above, I made guts pose when heard about that, but I wondered why Mr. Paterson said this class does not do the presentation at the same time. He said this class will do another task, 'make the website'. In the last year, we made the original website in the group about school. How do we write an effective essay? We learn about how to write an essay from last week's class. At first, we checked an essay ourselves. As basic knowledge, we hadn't better use personal pronounce, contraction and so on.  Yesterday class, we learn about how to write an introduction. I learn about that for the first time. We didn't write the introduction when yesterday yet, so we wrote it today. In the first-class of teaching about an essay by Mr. Paterson, We learn that our own section has to write three paragraphs and should connect the former section topic and next section topic. It because we have to show reasons to solve some problems. And, we had better repeat write key points in summary. Summary means is to leave an impression, so we should repeat each section's key points in summary. It likes the presentation when the last class( learn about presentation ). What should be finished? At first, we should write a conclusion and an introduction. Our group decided we thought and write two sentences on the conclusion and introduction. According to Mr. Paterson, a Google document is processed to make an essay. After everything is done, into Canva. Canva can make an effective brochure. Therefore, if we make brochure by Canva, be able to match the presentation and the website. And then, we got free time that goes on own group's essay. Mr. Paterson said that we should choose the font of the word. We haven't use Times New Romans and have to use Arial. Recently, we could spend own time to write and improve an essay. Therefore, we are able to go on an essay more than last class.  Mr.Paterson told us to what we will do tomorrow. We are going to make a list of references and write one or two sentences of the conclusion and introduction.
